Big leather bound journal with 8 corners and Medici coat of arms in brass.  The specimen was handcrafted by the master binder from Signum with the same techniques and materials used in the past.
The book block consists of 160 sheets of 120gr acid and chlorine free paper from the Italian Fabriano paper mill. It is adornded with two colour head bands, a handy green braided bookmark and two sheets of fine quality green cardboard embossed with the Signum brand name.
Our binded products are entirely made in our workshops situated in the heart of Florence.
The genuine leather cover is embellished and reinforced by sturdy aged metal casting details and produced exclusively for us. These perfectly match some of the decorations that were used for books from the 13th century onwards. The heavy brass corners were created exclusively for us and like the Medici family crest, they are made piece by piece in investment casting.
